We have loved Moorparks Cottages, the place is beautiful and the surroundings are idyllic. Erik & Michele lovely people, helpful, and great at giving a good guide on what to visit around this area! First night, a nice welcome with scones, jam, cream, milk, eggs, especially after a long drive. The Cottage was super confortable, very clean, well kept and felt like home. We will be sure to come back again. Must mention the alpacas, sheep and chickens, made the stay quite unique! Could look at the views for hours through the kitchen window. (Taken from the guest book)

Had an amazing time here again, our second visit to Moorparks. Children have loved spending hours with the animals and Erik. They will be sad to miss Trevor the lamb. Spent a lovely day cycling on the Tarka trail to Instow, another surfing at Croyde and a wonderful walk along the coast path from Westward Ho!. Such a lovely cottage and lovely people. See you again soon.

We've had a fantastic holiday here. The Cottage is very well equipped with everything you need to get you started. Beautiful scones with clotted cream and jam were waiting for us along with milk, tea bags and coffee. The Cottage has such a homely feel to it, we love it and want one of our own. It was such a joy to sit outside and watch the sheep, alpacas and chickens during the day, so very relaxing. At night we would sit out and watch the bats and just listen to the night life.
Erik and Michele are such a lovely couple, very knowledgeable about the area. If there is anything you require you just have to ask. Thank you Erik and Michele for making our stay here so perfect. We are looking forward to coming back.

We have really enjoyed our stay here at Moorparks Cottage. Erik was brilliant and was so helpful with shopping being delivered and text to give extra info. We had a lovely treat of scones with jam and cream, they were delicious! Some lovely flowers and tea/coffee & milk & some yummy eggs to get us started. We really enjoyed the cottage and had a few fires on the log burner, which was really cosy after long days on the beach with our 4 & 8 year olds!!
Our girls loved the animals and seeing them and enjoyed feeding them, they are really comical and its lovely to drive in and see the alpacas so interested in you.
All in all we've had a great stay and would definitely return and recommend to anyone wanting a lovely break away!!

Everything in the cottage was lovely and clean. We spent most of the time eating alfresco on the decking, admiring the stunning views, (+sheep) truly beautiful. We've enjoyed our second holiday at Moorparks and have been blessed with glorious weather.
Once again the accommodation has been first class. Due to the warm weather we've enjoysed breakfast and dinner on the decking.
Moorparks is a haven for wildlife and we've enjoyed watching the family of Great Spotted Woodpeckers on the feeders and on two occasions have seen Stoats in the garden.
Thankyou again Erik and Michele for a lovely holiday and for making our stay so special.

Very warm welcome from Eric with the added bonus of a cream tea ready to go. Flowers on the table also a nice touch. The Cottage had everything we needed and more, very clean and finished to a high standard. Will certainly be recommending The Cottage to friends and family. Will hope to return in the near future.

We enjoyed our stay at Moorparks the eggs and scones jam & cream were really nice, nothing was to much trouble for Eric when we had trouble with the heating. The alpacas are lovely animals, its a pity we wont be here on Monday to see them sheared. We also liked all the little villages that are dotted about. We might be back someday who knows. "The cottage was well equipped and easily accessible by road enabling exploration of north and south Devon, Dartmoor and Exmoor. It had a washer/drier, full-sized cooker, dishwasher and 'fridge. The log burner was an added bonus, with a first basket of logs provided and additional supplies available from the owners. The 'Smart' TV was a welcome addition. The owners were available for advice and assistance if required, but not intrusive, and their alpacas, sheep and hens an added interest. "

We stayed at MOORPARKS COTTAGE in July 2017 & I have to say that it is the best accommodation we have ever been to. The owners Erik & Michele made us very welcome. On our arrival we were greeted by Erik & were given tea, coffee, sugar & 2 pints of milk, as well as scones, cream, jam & half a dozen eggs. The accommodation was spotless & well equipped with white goods towels etc. The property had a NO PETS policy which we really liked as it is getting harder to find this type of accommodation.
